What’s new in UK bingo this year
- Lighter bingo-bonus wagering. The two new ProgressPlay brands ask 4x (Queen’s) and 10x (Vampire); Dotty asks 3x. A few years ago 30x or 35x on a bingo bonus was normal. Since the UKGC’s 10x cap on casino wagering, bingo bonuses have followed the trend down.
- Multiples instead of matches. New sites now advertise 300%, 400% or 500% bonuses on a £10 deposit rather than a 100% match up to £100. The headline is larger; the actual bonus (£30–£50) is smaller, and a conversion cap usually sits underneath it.
- Mini games count. Vampire Bingo lets its bonus be played through on mini games as well as bingo — a small change, but it makes a 10x requirement far easier to reach than bingo rooms alone.
